Local restaurants Miami Smokers, Blackbrick Chinese and Toasted Bagelry & Deli will be among the eateries to fill MiamiCentral’s food hall when it opens next summer in downtown Miami.

Central Fare will span 50,000 square feet on the first two floors of MiamiCentral and feature six restaurants and more than 20 food and retail concepts, according to a press release. New York-based AvroKO will design the marketplace and anchor restaurant with Morris Lapidus influences.

The food component of the mixed-use project will be anchored by Monger, a restaurant by the Voltaggio Brothers of Bravo’s “Top Chef.” It marks the first for Bryan and Michael Voltaggio in Florida. They have also been featured on the Cooking Channel, Food Network and the Travel Channel. Monger will encompass 10,000 square feet with separate kitchens and dining areas for its fishmonger, butcher and green grocer.

All Aboard will release more establishments in the next few months, a spokesperson told The Real Deal. Lease details, including square footage and terms, were not available.

The developer’s downtown Miami station will include 200,000 square feet of retail, 290,000 square feet of office space, 800 residential units, and a 95-story skyscraper – all on the 11-acre site. Last week, All Aboard revealed the first batch of office tenants for Two MiamiCentral, including Ernst & Young and flex-workspace provider Regus.

The developer hopes to complete the station and its components by mid-year 2017. MiamiCentral will be home to Brightline, the brand of high-speed trains that will run between downtown Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach and Orlando.

Swire Properties will also include a food hall when Brickell City Centre’s retail component opens. The three-story, 38,000-square-foot marketplace will offer Italian-style products, kiosks and cooking demonstrations.
