One of the real estate industry's biggest opportunities might be in one of its most overlooked niches. At least, that's what Brendan Wallace, one of the founders of major proptech VC firm Fifth Wall, is betting on. Wallace's team has raised a half-billion-dollar climate tech fund, but in this interview with TRD's Amir Korangy, he noted that the industry, which causes about 40% of all C02 emissions, could be "staring down the gauntlet of $18 trillion of deferred capex."
