Cowtown is leveling up.

The second-largest city in the Metroplex is getting its own Christie’s International Real Estate office.

@properties Lone Star Christie’s International Real Estate will open its Fort Worth office at 3100 West Seventh Street in the heart of the city’s Cultural District, a neighborhood just west of downtown Fort Worth. The office will open with 20 agents, with plans to expand to 50 agents within 90 days.

Lone Star Christie’s Real Estate has two other Metroplex offices, in Dallas and Frisco. It opened an Austin office last fall. The franchise is owned by Jerry Mooty Jr., the nephew of Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones.

Mooty has tapped Michael Hoover to run brokerage operations at the luxury brand’s Fort Worth office. Hoover previously led Monument Realty’s Fort Worth office. He has extensive experience working in Tarrant, Hood, Parker, Erath, Palo Pinto and Wise counties.

The Fort Worth office will serve far-flung luxury markets like Southlake, Northlake, Westlake and Lake Granbury. Lone Star aims to reach $1 billion in sales in 2025, Mooty said.

“With the growth of the luxury market in Fort Worth, now is the perfect time to introduce this prestigious brand,” Hoover said in a news release.

Christie Real Estate’s Fort Worth office will be located in one of the city’s hottest submarkets.

Since 2020, the Cultural District has received more than $1 billion in development investment, including a $275 million mixed-use project from Dallas-based developer Crescent Real Estate. Less than six months after the project was delivered, Crescent announced a second phase will add 170,000 square feet of office space.

In December, the neighborhood welcomed an Auberge Resorts Collection hotel, the Bowie House Hotel.

Nebraska-based developer Goldenrod Companies is investing in the area, too. It’s expected to deliver two mixed-use projects, One University and the Van Zandt, by 2026.

Christie’s International Real Estate was founded in 1987 in Santa Fe. It was acquired by Chicago-based @properties in 2021.
