A Dallas-based firm has two developments in the works that offer very different lifestyles.

Centurion American Development Group, led by Mehrdad Moayedi, is building a country club for its development in Celina, 45 miles north of Dallas. And it is planning a 14-story condo building with 14 units in Dallas’ Turtle Creek neighborhood, the Dallas Morning News reported.

In Celina, the firm is developing its largest ever project, a 3,200-acre master-planned community called Legacy Hills. It is expected to have 7,000 single-family homes, 4,100 multifamily units and 100 acres of commercial space. Construction started in spring of last year.

The golf resort it’s building to accompany Legacy Hills is called 1876, named after the year Celina was founded. It is expected to open in about a year and will have an 18-hole course, designed by Lee Singletery, plus tennis courts, a gym and a pool. A clubhouse with a restaurant is planned, the developer is considering adding a hotel as well.

It is one of several communities in North Texas that is being planned with a large golf course, the outlet said.

Meanwhile, in Turtle Creek, Centurion is planning a luxury high-rise project at Turtle Creek Boulevard and Fairmount Street, which could have some of Dallas’ most expensive condos.

The Julien condos would have 14 stories with floorplates spanning 8,100 square feet. Each condo would take up the entire floor except for mechanical areas, elevators and stairways.

It would have a garage that parks cars via automobile elevator, the outlet said. Moayedi showed plans for the Julien to the Oak Lawn Committee last week.

A couple of other luxury condo projects are on the way near where Centurion is planning the Julien.

Rosewood Hotels & Resorts is building a 17-story condo project at 3555 Dickason Avenue. It will have 46 units ranging from 2,000 to 6,380 square feet. The Four Seasons Hotel & Residences, at 3001 Turtle Creek Boulevard, is estimated to cost $750 million. It is being developed by Boston-based Carpenter & Company.
