Another big senior living facility is coming to Dallas.

Developer McFarlin Group posted plans to build a $40 million independent living facility comprising 204,000 square feet. The residential development will consist of about 200 units. Construction is expected to begin next year, with a slated date of completion in early 2025.

The Blake at Bent Tree property will be located at 19001 Dallas Parkway in Far North Dallas.

McFarlin has already built or is planning several communities in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, including two in the suburb of Mckinney — the Ivy of Mckinney and the Orchard Park of McKinney.

That Collin County suburb is a popular destination for such projects. Integrated Real Estate Group in October announced a $42 million, 366,000-square-foot senior-living facility in McKinney.

The Dallas area overall is a prime destination for the senior living market. JAMP Enterprises and Frontier Management in September secured $61 million in funding to build a 230-unit senior living facility in the suburb of Garland.
