Brickson was last principal at McKinney Realty Capital, the Dallas firm he founded in 2022. He will join Marcus & Millichap’s DFW multifamily investment sales team, the Fluellen-Hoover Multifamily Group.

Dallas-based architecture and design firm Corgan hired Ian Zapata as director of design. Zapata was previously design director at Gensler, starting in 2008. Corgan is known for designing club lounges at LaGuardia and San Francisco International airport and provided speculative designs for the first office building at The Links near PGA of America headquarters in Frisco. 

Cousins Properties elected Susan Givens to its board of directors. Givens was formerly a senior managing director of Blackstone’s real estate group. Cousins Properties, an Atlanta-based office REIT, purchased the mortgage for Saint Ann Court, an Uptown Dallas office building, for $138 million in October.
