Douglas Elliman opened its Dallas office recently. The firm leased 8,300 square feet at 4515 Travis Street in Travis Walk; it had been in a temporary location while construction was underway. The brokerage, founded in 1911 and known for luxury sales, branched into Texas in 2019 and has been steadily growing its presence across the Texas Triangle. Led by executive manager of sales Concho Minick, the Dallas office features meeting rooms, open work areas, a kitchen and lounge and an outdoor patio overlooking Travis.
Brant Landry has been elected to Dallas-based SRS Real Estate Partners’ board of directors. Landry joined the firm two years ago as its managing principal for industrial. Since then, he has “led the industrial team through tremendous growth, including adding 17 team members in five key markets around the country,” according to a news release.
JLL promoted Richard Quarles to senior managing director, leading its Houston industrial agency leasing brokerage team. Quarles’ team of seven brokers, specializing in landlord representation, has leased over 8 million square feet and closed more than 110 transactions, according to a news release.
KAI 360 Construction Services hired Kristopher McGraw as senior project manager in its Dallas-Fort Worth office, at 5010 Riverside Drive in Irving. He previously worked for over 20 years at HarrisonKornberg Architects in Houston.

Movers: Douglas Elliman’s Stephen Apelian expands business to Austin
Commercial real estate firm Hall Group has hired Ben Brewer, the former Dallas market leader for Hines, as its chief operating officer, the Dallas Morning News reported. Dallas-based Hall’s holdings span real estate, finance, winemaking and venture capital, the outlet said. Brewer will oversee Hall’s real estate portfolio and lead its asset management, development and marketing teams.
Two Houston real estate data pros have teamed up to start their own firm. Called Community Builders Advisory Services, it’s from Lawrence Dean, a well-known name in the field, who previously worked for Metrostudy, Zonda and Veritex Bank, the Houston Business Journal reported. Dean partnered with his former Zonda colleague Danny Ware in the venture, which will collect data on residential development and offer custom market studies.
