Luxury brokerage @properties Christie’s International Real Estate is marching down the field toward a luxury niche in Texas.

The firm — whose Texas CEO is Jerry Mooty Jr. — launched a sports and entertainment division for its Austin and Dallas markets, according to a news release. It will cater to athletes, entertainers and other high-profile people through discreet and personalized services. 

“We understand the distinctive requirements of this niche market and are committed to delivering unparalleled real estate experiences,” Mooty said.

He is the nephew of Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones.

The division’s Austin team comprises Kim Moore, Dara Allen, Monica Fabbio, Khani Zulu and Myles Lewis, while Mooty and Marjan Wolford will represent the Dallas team. Together, these agents have a slew of connections in the realm of sports and entertainment.

Allen represented star athletes and Grammy-award winning musicians while working in Los Angeles. Mooty is plugged in with an expansive network of NFL players and other sports figures. 

Emphasizing the importance of confidentiality, the division has implemented rigorous privacy protocols to safeguard sensitive client information. 

“Whether we like it or not, people take advantage of situations when the identity comes to light, so you have to be extremely careful who gets involved,” Mooty said.

Several months ago, @properties Christie’s expanded its Texas operation by launching an Austin branch. It opened an office in the Westlake area, which is one of the most affluent parts of the city. 

The Chicago-based company established its presence in Dallas-Fort Worth more than two years ago and has since grown into a team of 80 agents, with offices in Dallas and Frisco.In Chicago, @properties has solidified itself as a top dog in the luxury market. In 2022, the firm had raked in $13 billion of sales over the previous year, ranking first in the city. The priciest sale in the Chicago-area last year was listed by an @properties agent.
