Zynga CEO Frank Gibreau has sold his Atherton home for $10.1 million, according to public records.

The gated estate at 24 Almendral Avenue in West Atherton sits on nearly an acre and has a five-bedroom, four-bath home with more than 6,500 square feet, according to the listing notes, as well as a tennis court, pool, hot tub, greenhouse and citrus garden.

Sotheby’s International Realty agent Joel Schilperoort represented both sides of the deal and did not reply to a request for comment. Schilperoort typically specializes in properties in San Francisco and southern Marin, according to his website, making this Atherton trade a rare Peninsula sale for him.

Schilperoort also represented the mobile gaming CEO on his 2020 purchase of 2637 Broderick Street in San Francisco’s Pacific Heights neighborhood. Gibreau bought the four-bedroom, four-bath with about 4,500 square feet for just under $7.2 million, according to public records.

Gibreau seems to be loving city life because Schilperoort listed his Peninsula home in October for $11.75 million. He removed the listing without a sale at the end of the year. It came back on the market in early January with a new price just under $11 million and went into contract within a week.

The sale closed on Feb. 13 and went to buyers John and Martha DiLullo, according to public records. John DiLullo just left his role as CEO of AI outreach company LiveVox this month, according to his LinkedIn profile, after it was purchased by Israeli AI customer experience company NICE for about $350 million at the end of last year.

He is now an operating partner at private equity tech investor Symphony Technology Group, based in Menlo Park. DiLullo and his wife, a paralegal, also own a five-bedroom, five-bath Los Altos Hills home they bought from the developers when it was built in 2018 for just under $5 million.

The Almendral home was built in 1950 but Gibreau both renovated and added to the home during a major renovation almost a decade ago, according to Atherton permit records. More recently, the listing mentions that the tennis court has been newly resurfaced, and can be used for basketball and pickleball as well. There is also a new motor court with a paver driveway and a detached garage.

The listing notes call Almendral “one of the most desirable streets in West Atherton,” and the area has been busy over the last few months.

A home down the street traded for $17 million in December and, in January, the owner of the Bay FC soccer team sold his custom home for $22 million. Last month, Gap co-founder Doris Fisher also sold a 2-acre slice of her nearby estate for $15.5 million.

Zynga is the studio behind the Farmville social media game franchise.
