For fashion designer Jill Stuart, Sagaponack is so last season.
This month, Stuart sold her property at 113 Parsonage Lane for $9.4 million, the New York Post reported. She had listed the property in June 2021 for $14 million, but last asked for $11 million after changing brokers.
Sitting on 1.6 acres, the 5,000-square-foot farmhouse — if a home that large can be called a farmhouse — features a living room with a wood-burning fireplace, a media room and a dining room with French doors to the outside. There’s a junior bedroom suite and guest bedroom on the ground floor, plus four ensuite bedrooms and a main bedroom with a fireplace on the upper level.
That’s seven bedrooms, by our count.

The grounds include a pool house with its own gym, bathroom and laundry room. The exterior of the home has bluestone patios, a gas fire pit, a Jacuzzi, a pool and a four-car garage. There’s also room to build the requisite tennis court, which the property’s four closest neighbors already have.
The buyer was not disclosed. Tal Alexander and Sara Sandler of Official Partners held the listing.
It was not the home’s size but its location that kept the price under eight figures: It’s more than a mile from the Atlantic Ocean as the crow flies, longer by foot. Google Maps estimates the walk to Gibson’s Beach at 1.5 miles and 30 minutes. There is, however, an inlet, part of the Sagg Swamp Nature Preserve, about 13 minutes away.
Stuart is reportedly in the midst of a nasty divorce with Ron Curtis, the chief executive officer of Stuart’s eponymous clothing brand. Several years ago, Stuart sued Curtis after he allegedly mismanaged a family trust and caused her to lose $25 million.
Stuart also has a six-bedroom condo at the Urban Glass House in Soho.
