The redevelopment site is centered around Osborne Avenue and Railroad Street, where there are several vacant and dilapidated buildings.

At least five developers have expressed interest, according to Riverhead Community Development Administrator Dawn Thomas. Bidders must submit by May 14 and the town board will choose finalists around mid-June. Those finalists will present their projects to the public a month later. [Newsday] — Dennis Lynch
