Bay Street Theater has confirmed it purchased the 15,000-square-foot Water Street Shops property on Long Island Avenue in Sag Harbor, according to the East Hampton Press.
The property hit the market in July for $13.9 million, but the purchase price is not known. It has eight retail units.
Bay Street Theater officials said they to break ground on a new facility there by mid-2021. It would include “multiple theaters… [and] additional fixed and flexible spaces.”
