Tal Alexander’s wife Arielle Alexander has filed for divorce from the former top broker, The Real Deal has learned.

Tal is facing federal sex trafficking charges alongside his brothers, Oren and Alon Alexander. All three were arrested in Miami on Dec. 11 and are being transferred to New York where they will remain in federal custody until and through their trial. Tal surrendered to authorities at his parents’ home in Bal Harbour.

Tal and Arielle married in the fall of 2023 and recently became parents to their first baby.

“I will continue to provide my young baby with love and support as I leave my husband,” Arielle said in a statement provided to TRD by her attorney. “This commitment to my child’s best interests and well-being will remain my highest priority.”

She declined to comment further. Her lawyer, Daniel Nottes, also declined to comment. Nottes has also previously represented Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher and the wife of NBA star Paul George.

Tal and Arielle have lived at 432 Park Avenue, which has been cited in the brothers’ bids for pre-trial release. Alon’s attorney, Howard Srebnick, offered to have Alon stay at the apartment on house arrest in Alon’s proposal to be let out on bail. Federal judges in Miami and New York denied the brothers’ bail packages.

The FBI searched the couple’s apartment the day Tal was arrested and recovered a hard drive with videos and photos that prosecutors claimed show Oren and Alon engaging in sexual contact with women who appear to be intoxicated or under the influence.

Arielle is a former investment analyst and venture capitalist. She’s also the founder of an executive recruiting firm focused on filling roles at hedge funds, investment banks and venture capital and private equity firms.

Prosecutors allege the three brothers drugged and raped dozens of women dating back to when they were in high school. The FBI interviewed at least 42 women who allege they were assaulted by one or more of the brothers and who said they experienced symptoms of being drugged.

The federal charges carry a minimum sentence of 15 years, and up to life in prison.
