The five-bedroom house has a home gym, outdoor pool and racquetball court. It was owned by Belfort, aka the Wolf of Wall Street who was played by Leonardo DiCaprio in Martin Scorsese’s 2013 Hollywood movie, and was a backdrop to both the fallen broker’s memoir and later Scorsese’s movie. The New York Post reported the current price of the luxurious home was reduced by 15 percent compared to its initial listing last year for $3.4 million.

Belfort vacated the house after pleading guilty to fraud and other charges related to market manipulation in 1999. The home was sold by federal authorities in 2001 in order to pay off part of the $110 million restitution Belford owned almost 1,500 people for defrauding them. The property has only had one owner since that sale. [NYP]Erin Hudson
