Bronx developer Kim Tasher is planning to bring another residential building to the borough, this time with 101 apartments.

The building, located at 976 Woodycrest Avenue in Highbridge, would stand seven stories and 71 feet tall and span slightly more than 65,000 square feet, according to plans Tasher filed with the Department of Buildings on Tuesday. It will replace a two-story home.

Tasher’s company SKF Development bought the site for $2.1 million, according to Steven Westreich of Westbridge Realty Group, who brokered the deal.

The building is located near Yankee Stadium and just outside of the Cromwell-Jerome Avenue rezoning area, which the City Council approved earlier this year. Maddd Equities is planning a massive pair of affordable housing projects nearby within the rezoning area at 1159 and 1184 River Avenue that will contain about 750 residential units in total. Developer Peter Fine is also planning a mixed-use project in the rezoning area at 1331 Jerome Avenue that would span 195,000 square feet.

Tasher did not respond to a request for comment.

His company SKF Development is also planning to construct a 71-unit residential building in the Bronx at 2306 Webster Avenue  and an 88-unit apartment building at 246 Echo Place.
