After its merger with Time Inc. earlier this year and move to Brookfield Place, Meredith is offloading its former Midtown East office space.

The company, which owns Better Homes and Gardens, Sports Illustrated and People magazines, has found a new tenant, Kroll Bond Ratings Agency, to sublease 95,000 square feet at its former digs, floors 26 to 29 at Charles Cohen’s 805 Third Avenue, according to the New York Post.

Meredith is still looking to shed another 94,000 square feet of space on floors 22 to 25, with an asking rent of $65 a square foot.

Kroll had reportedly been looking to expand from its original offices at 845 Third Avenue, where it was spread across 37,000 square feet on two unconnected floors. It has put that space on the sublease market, according to the Post. [NYP] David Jeans
