Harvey Weinstein sells Greenwich Village townhouse for $26M

Disgraced producer paid $14.95M in 2006

UPDATED, March 27, 8:50 p.m.: Disgraced producer Harvey Weinstein has sold his Greenwich Village townhouse for $25.6 million.

According to property records, the buyer is Cheget LLC. The house, located on Bank Street, wasn’t publicly listed.

Weinstein bought the house for $14.95 million in 2006 through an LLC, Thirban Realty Holdings.

Built in 1852, the house has four stories and measures just over 5,000 square feet.

The Weinstein Company filed for bankruptcy earlier this month in the wake of allegations of sexual harassment and assault against its former chairman.

Following the bombshell reports detailing his alleged abuse of women, Weinstein has been unloading his real estate holdings.

Earlier this month, Weinstein also sold two waterfront properties in Westport, Conn., for $16 million

In January, Weinstein sold his home in Amagansett for $10 million. The house had been listed since May 2016, with an original price tag of $13.5 million.
