Office services company Convene signed a 28,000-square-foot lease at RXR Realty’s 75 Rockefeller Plaza.

The startup will use the space to run conference rooms, common areas and a catering facility for the building’s occupants, Commercial Observer reported. Convene already operates spaces at two other RXR buildings: 32 Old Slip and 237 Park Avenue. 75 Rock, set to open in May, will be Convene’s 12th New York location.

The company, founded as Sentry Centers in 2009 and renamed Convene in 2011, raised $68 million in a Series C round last year and is currently working on raising another $150 million. Brookfield Property Partners and the Durst Organization are among its investors.

Convene is among a handful of companies bringing a version of the hotel-flag concept to the office market: a consumer-facing brand to operate buildings and common spaces. [CO]Konrad Putzier
