A residential building with 88 apartments is on its way to the West Bronx.

Kim Tasher’s SKF Development filed plans on Wednesday for a building at 246 Echo Place in the borough’s Mount Hope neighborhood, according to records with the Department of Buildings. The project will replace a two-family home, stand eight stories tall and span 51,232 square feet.

An LLC linked to SKF Development purchased the site for $725,000 earlier this year. Tasher owns multiple other properties throughout the Bronx, including 1417 Longfellow Avenue and 1685 Monroe Avenue, and SKF Development filed plans last summer to build a 73-unit apartment building at 1144 Evergreen Avenue.

Other nearby projects coming to the Bronx include a 64-unit residential building from investor Robert Lumaj at 1978 Anthony Avenue and a mixed-use project with 119 residential units from developer Sam Kafif at 2 Mount Hope Place.
