107-year-old Southhampton home is up for sale with a $27.9M pricetag

Lowered expectations is the name of the game these days. The 6.6-acre property at 500 Captains Neck Lane was listed in March 2016 for $35 million, but was taken off the market in under a month. It’s recently been relisted for a slightly more reasonable $27.9 million. The 13,000-square-foot home, built in 1910, features a 11 bedrooms, 10 full bathrooms and three half bathrooms between the main house and “attached” cottages, according to the listing. There’s also a dock on Taylor Creek. Sotheby’s International agents Ritchey Howe and Molly Ferrer have the listing. [Curbed]
