Kushner Companies, CIM Group and LIVWRK have tapped architect Morris Adjmi to design their newest flagship Brooklyn project in Dumbo, sources told The Real Deal.

The project would be Adjmi’s largest ever in the New York City area, sources said.

Plans for the two-tower project, which is slated to combine condominium and rental units across 1.1 million square feet, have been kept largely under wraps since the partnership closed on the development site at 85 Jay Street last year.

The firms paid a combined $345 million to buy the 135,000-square-foot site from the Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Kushner has frequently collaborated with Adjmi [TRDataCustom], the same architect behind condo projects such as 11 North Moore Street in Tribeca and 250 Bowery on the Lower East Side. He previously designed the 72-story rental tower 30 Journal Square in Jersey City on behalf of the company.

A spokesperson Adjmi declined to comment, while a Kushner spokesperson wasn’t available.

Jared Kushner, an adviser and son-in-law to President Trump, does not plan to divest of his interest in the project.
