Health care software company Remedy Partners signed a 28,640-square-foot lease at Haymes Investment Company’s 5 Penn Plaza.
Unusual for a space that size, it is pre-built. The asking rent was $68 per square foot.
CBRE’s Peter Turchin, Jason Pollen, Dave Caperna and Hillary Whittier represented the landlord. Cushman & Wakefield’s Doug Regal represented Remedy, which will occupy the building’s entire sixth floor and move in June 1.
Last year Haymes landed a $300 million CMBS loan from Citigroup for the 24-story, 631,000-square-foot property, which sits on Eighth Avenue between 33rd and 34th Streets. Haymes uses the building as its headquarters. Other major tenants are Sirius XM Radio and the Visiting Nurse Service of New York.
