Shlomi Reuveni has launched his own new development brokerage, Reuveni Real Estate, he said in a statement Friday.
He said the brokerage will focus on high-end development projects for local and foreign private clients and institutions, though Reuveni declined to name any specific projects.
Reuveni is going solo four months after he left Town Residential, where he’d served as the company’s managing director of new development for two years. His departure came shortly after Elaine Diratz, an alumnus of Corcoran Sunshine and Extell Development, was named co-managing director of the division.
He later sued the company for $16.3 million in a dispute over his restrictions placed on him by his employment agreement. The litigation is still pending, records show.
At Town, Reuveni led the sales team at Projects Such As The Condo Conversion Project 212 Fifth Avenue before the developers swapped marketing firms, tapping Sotheby’s International Realty.
