In an invitation to its new Bedford-Stuyvesant office, Nest Seekers International teases: “Didn’t see that coming, did you?”

This can be read as, “We know something you don’t know about this neighborhood,” or “Our Brooklyn business is taking off!” Unfortunately, the invitation for the office’s grand opening directed visitors to a street on Staten Island.

As Brownstoner delicately pointed out, the invitation to Ryan Serhant’s new office incorrectly listed the address as 326 Tompkins Street — a street that doesn’t exist in Brooklyn but is located on Staten Island. (And also, fun fact, in New Jersey!) The brokerage sent out new invitations on Thursday that listed the correct address as 326 Tompkins Avenue, but the irrevocable damage continues to dwell in many an inbox.

A rival broker noted the mix-up on Facebook.

“If you want to set up an office in this neighborhood, it’s best to know the exact address of your office,” Ban Leow, who goes by Ban Stuy on Facebook, posted. “It’s Tompkins Ave not Tompkins St. Welcome to Bed Stuy NestSeekers and get to know the neighborhood.”

To be fair, this is the “Million Dollar Listing New York” star’s first leasing office in Brooklyn. So, he has plenty of time to learn his way around the neighborhood. [Brownstoner] — Kathryn Brenzel
