World Wide Group and Rose Associates put out a set of new renderings of their 65-story condominium-and-rental tower in Midtown.
The developers are planning 93 condos and 175 rental units at the 700-foot, 633,000-square-foot tower, located at 252 East 57th Street, New York YIMBY reported.
The renderings show a curvaceous, glass-bedecked, blue-tinted tower with a mosaic facade recalling a monochromatic take on the postmodern art movement known as De Stijl.
The Skidmore, Owings & Merrill-designed building will have 28,000 square feet of commercial spaces, along with amenities including several lounges, a theater, a library, a pool, a fitness room, a billiard room and a pet grooming center.
Developers expect the condo units to bring in a total of $782.9 million. Sales at the building opened in 2014. It topped out in October. [NY YIMBY] – Ariel Stulberg
