After buying an Upper East Side townhouse — that also happens to be next door to Woody Allen’s home — from Susan Weber Soros, the ex-wife of billionaire George Soros, an Arizona-based investor keeps chopping the price to sell it.
Chris Cole bought the five-bedroom mansion at 116 East 70th Street between Park and Lexington avenues through an LLC for $31 million in 2014, the New York Post reported. He first put the 6,660-square-foot townhouse on the market for $33 million. That increase quickly decreased to $28 million when the home didn’t sell. This week, Cole is listing it at $27 million.
Built in 1869, the townhouse is 19 feet wide and now features an elevator, two terraces, and a glass solarium overlooking a garden.
