Sordid new details emerged Monday at the arraignment of BlackHouse Development founder Sean Ludwick for his alleged role in last summer’s Sag Harbor hit-and-run that killed Douglas Elliman broker Paul Hansen.
A forensic investigator said evidence at site of the accident established that, following the crash, Ludwick had removed the body of Hansen and laid it on the ground near Hansen’s driveway on Rolling Hill Court East.
Ludwick had a blood-alcohol level of .18 percent four hours after the Aug. 30 crash, the investigator said, according to a statement from the Suffolk County District Attorney. Prosecutors said Ludwick threw Hansen’s personal effects into the woods after dumping the body.
The developer on Monday pleaded not guilty to a 13-count indictment. The charges include aggravated vehicular homicide, vehicular manslaughter, manslaughter, driving while intoxicated and others.
The aggravated vehicular homicide charge carries a maximum sentence of 25 years.
Ludwick is free on a $1 million bond, and was forced to surrender his passport to the court.
Paul Hansen’s widow Catherine Hansen in October filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Ludwick.
