Hospitality mogul Peter Morton just dropped $25.5 million for two West Village condos. That’s a lot of steak and lobster — 404,761 surf-and-turfs at his Morton’s Steakhouse, to be exact.
Morton, the billionaire ex-beau of Demi Moore, now owns two units at Witkoff’s 150 Charles Street, according to the New York Daily News. The Hard Rock Cafe founder, who lost his Hamptons estate to a fire in March, bought units on the 12th and 14th floors of the trendy new Village development. Douglas Elliman’s Darren Sukenik had the listings.
Morton is just the latest big-name buyer at the 91-unit project.
