Adding to its dominance of the shared office-space market, Regus has inked a deal with the Kaufman Organization for a 23,000 square-foot-space in Chelsea.
Regus signed a 10-year lease for the full sixth floor at the landlord’s building at 112 West 20th Street.
Regus’ Dan Suozzi and Jim Wenk of JLL represented the Luxembourg-based company. Steven Kaufman, Barbara Raskob and Yvonne Chang represented the Kaufman Organization.
Regus could not be immediately reached for comment, but according to the company’s website the new location will be opening shortly. Most of the provider’s office spaces are located in Midtown East, and the newest outlet represents a push further into Midtown South.
The company has recently inked deals to open locations in Brooklyn and Queens.
Last year, The Real Deal reported Regus to be one of the top 15 largest office tenants in the city. It’s main rival, WeWork, is now valued at more than $5 billion.
