Fisher Brothers, Witkoff and Howard Lorber plan to launch sales soon at their new Tribeca residential tower.

The Kohn Pedersen Fox-designed tower, Now Labeled 111 Murray Street but formerly known as both 101 Murray Street and 101 Tribeca, is a “collaboration of design visionaries” including designer David Rockwell, architect David Mann, and landscape architect Edmund Hollander, according to the site. The building will have 139 apartments ranging from studios to five-bedroom units, and the spaces will average 2,627 square feet, Curbed reported.

The tower will compete with Michael Shvo’s 125 Greenwich Street for the title of tallest downtown residential building, though it is unclear as of now which will actually climb the highest.

The trio of developers picked up the former St. John’s University site for $200 million in 2013. Permits for the new building are currently pending. [Curbed] — Tess Hofmann
