A new budget hotel will be joining the competition in Midtown West.
Developer Jimmy Shao filed an application to construct the 118-room hotel at 306 West 40th Street, according to New York YIMBY. The plans call for a 30-story building that will span 44,234 square feet. Two new hotels are under construction on the same block, one at 310 West 40th Street and one at 350 West 40th Street.
