Jeff Dvorett, vice president of development at Gary Barnett’s Extell Development, has joined Times Square-based Chinese real estate investment firm Kuafa Properties to oversee projects there.
After nine years, Dvorett left Extell, where he was supervising the construction of One57, Bloomberg News reported. He announced his move to Kuafu yesterday. Kuafu and partner Siras Development are building a 47-story condo-hotel tower at 462-470 11th Avenue in Hudson Yards, as previously reported.
Kuafu launched last year “with the vision of being the ultimate bridge between Chinese investors and the United States real estate market,” Dvorett said in a statement cited by the website. “We are actively seeking additional investment opportunities to deploy our in-house capabilities and access to capital.” [Bloomberg News] — Mark Maurer
