An apartment owned by billionaire Alex Sapir — and located in the same Tribeca building where Jay Z and Beyonce live — hit the market for $4.8 million.
Sapir is selling his three-bedroom unit at 195 Hudson Street, according to the New York Daily News. Sapir, the son of the late Tamir Sapir and president of family firm the Sapir Organization, bought the first-floor unit in 2006 for $2.9 million. Jay Z and Beyonce, together with daughter Blue Ivy, live on the seventh floor, the newspaper reported.
Sapir’s apartment is 3,205 square feet, has 15-foot ceilings, steel beams and a chef’s kitchen.
