The New York Times captured views future inhabitants of 432 Park Avenue — specifically from an apartment asking $81 million — will enjoy once the building opens next year. The Rafael Viñoly-designed tower officially topped out at 1,396 feet on Tuesday, making it not only the tallest building in the city, but in the Western Hemisphere, as well.

“It’s almost like the Mona Lisa,” Harry Macklowe, who’s developing the property along with Los Angeles-based CIM Group, told the Times. “Except instead of it looking at you, you’re looking at it wherever you are. You can’t escape it.”

According to Streeteasy, the building’s priciest unit is asking $82.5 million at $9,993 per square foot. [NYT] — Kerry Barger
