Savanna Capital Partners is looking to sell Twitter’s New York City headquarters at 245-249 West 17th Street in Chelsea.
The landlord hired the Eastdil Secured team of Doug Harmon, Adam Spies, Adam Doneger and Joshua King to market the 12-story office building and a six-story mixed-use property next door. Social media giant Twitter inked a deal for more than 140,000 square feet there in January, as previously reported.
The average rent at the site is $70.38 per square foot, according to Eastdil data cited by the New York Observer. Twitter, Flywheel and Room & Board collectively occupy 85 percent of the space. The two buildings have a total of nearly 281,300 square feet. They recently underwent a $29.4 million gut renovation, the Observer said. [NYO] — Mark Maurer
