Developers David Amirian and Eric Brody of the Brody/Amirian Group and Joseph Klaynberg of Wonder Works Construction, in partnership with JSR Capital, plan to launch leasing next week at a new eight-story rental building known as the Robyn in the East Village, The Real Deal has learned.

Architect Karl Fischer designed the 33-unit property at 316 East 3rd Street, Between Avenue C and D, on the site of a now-demolished, 19th-century antebellum row house. Real estate brokerage Miron Properties was hired to market the apartments.

The building features 12 studios, 17 one-bedrooms, and four two-bedroom duplex penthouse units with private terraces. Rent is set to range from $2,100 per month for a studio and $3,375 and more per month for the duplex penthouses.

Amenities at the building will include a roof deck, pet spa and storage space.

The Brody/Amirian Group filed plans for the project in 2011. Community activists had lobbied for the Landmarks Preservation Commission to recognize the row house as a landmark prior to demolition, but to no avail, as previously reported.
