A five-story Federal-style townhouse in the West Village is set to hit the market asking $23.9 million.
The historic 9,000-square-foot home, located at 21 West 10th Street, was built in 1833 on a lot that was originally owned by John Jacob Astor. Although over the years a portion of the structure was divided into six rental units, the property is being marketed as a single-family home, according the New York Times.
The 26-and-one-half-foot-wide building currently features a 4,500-square-foot owner’s triplex on the lower floors, a gym and a 20-person hot tub in the basement.
Roger Erickson of Sotheby’s International Realty has the listing.
