Hoboken, N.J.-based Ironstate Development plans to build a 15-story apartment complex in Chelsea.
Architecture firm Goldstein, Hill & West is designing the 152-foot-tall building at 221 West 29th Street — currently a parking lot. There will be 67 units, according to the plan exam application submitted yesterday.
It is not clear if they will be condominiums or rentals, BuzzBuzzHome reported. The site, between Seventh and Eighth avenues, will also hold 12 parking spots.
Goldstein, Hill & West is also working on the Brauser Group’s 23-story mixed-use project at 54 Fulton Street in the Financial District.
The Jefferson, an 82-unit East Village condominium building also developed by Ironstate along with Charles Blaichman and SK Development, sold out last month, as The Real Deal reported. [BuzzBuzzHome] — Mark Maurer
