World Business Lenders inked a 23,406-square-foot lease across two floors of SL Green’s Tower 45, the New York Observer reported.
Renovated in 2011, the 575,000-square-foot building at 120 West 45th Street contains the offices of largely financial and tech firms. World Business Lenders, which is moving its headquarters to the tower, specializes in providing short-term and flexible commercial loans to businesses.
Tower 45 was among the SL Green-owned properties that saw an uptick in activity earlier this year, Marc Holliday told The Real Deal in April. In the first quarter, SL Green signed leases totaling nearly 600,000 square feet of space and announced nearly 1 million square feet of deals in the pipeline.
John Johnson of Studley represented the tenant. The Jones Lang LaSalle team of Paul Glickman, Frank Doyle, Mitti Liebersohn, Diana Biasotti and David Kleiner represented SL Green, the Observer said. [NYO] – Mark Maurer
