A single-family Greenwich Village townhouse once home to composer and conductor John Philip Sousa that languished on the market for a year is back with new brokers and a lower price tag, the New York Observer reported.
William Rainero, owner of the property at 80 Washington Place and head of Metropolitan Realty & Development Group, listed the 8,700-square-foot, 22.5-foot-wide property with Town Residential’s Robert Dvorin and Clayton Orrigo for $28.9 million. In June 2012, it was listed with Douglas Elliman’s Lisa Simonsen and Laura Mondrick for $31.5 million, as The Real Deal reported.
