Pricing at the Jefferson condominiums will range from $850,000 to $2.49 million, BuzzBuzzHome reported, citing a new website for the East Village development. The 83-unit project, located at 211 East 13th Street, is a partnership between Ironstate Development, Charles Blaichman and SK Development, and is designed by BKSK Architects.
The cheapest unit is a 536-square-foot studio, while the most expensive is a 1,233-square-foot, two-bedroom penthouse with 610 square feet of outdoor space. The Kara Mann-designed interiors will have walnut flooring, and building amenities include a rooftop terrace, fitness center, business center and a residents’ lounge.
The site was once home to the Jefferson Theatre, which made its debut in 1913. It first operated as a vaudeville theater, then closed in 1977 while operating as an adult film theater. The old structure was razed in 2000. The Marketing Directors, which is handling sales at the building, is billing the project as “21st century living in the heart of Olde New York.” [BuzzBuzzHome] –Hiten Samtani
