New York Yankees captain Derek Jeter is considering renting a five-bedroom, four-bathroom duplex in the Chelsea Quarter Condominium, the New York Post reported. After revealing back in April that he intends to downsize to a Manhattan pied-a-terre, Jeter recently viewed a 4,000-square-foot apartment, located at 129 West 20th Street, which is asking $25,000 a month. A source described the unit to the Post, as being “like a private home on top of a loft building,”
Citi Habitats’ Jason Saft has the listing.
As The Real Deal previously reported, the shortstop recnetly sold his 5,425-square-foot, 88th floor penthouse apartment at the Trump World Tower at 845 United Nations Plaza for $15.5 million. Jeter also owns a 30,000-square-foot Tampa mansion, dubbed St. Jetersburg. [NYP] —Christopher Cameron
