When it comes to dog-related issues, the Gateway Plaza just can’t catch a break. The chic Battery Park City apartment complex, which recently tried to enact, but later reneged on, a ban on certain dog breeds and a pet-ownership fee, is now subject to a lawsuit by a resident who claims the building did nothing about his neighbor’s excessive complaints about his dog, DNAinfo reported.

Gateway Plaza tenant Steven Sendor filed suit against landlord the LeFrak Organization on August 31, DNAinfo said.

Sendor alleges that the building staff investigated every single complaint by neighbor David Levine, despite his endless complaints about Sender’s husky mix, Piper, having allegedly been found “to be repeatedly baseless, untrue and/or false.” [DNAinfo] — Guelda Voien
