The recently opened 97-unit Mantena rental building located in the Hudson Yards already has seen leasing get off to a strong start, Crain’s reported. A total of 24 apartments have been rented since the building launched a few weeks ago.
Now that the rental season is in full swing, Clifford Finn, the president of new development marketing at Citi Habitats and the building’s exclusive broker, told Crain’s that all of the apartments are expected to lease out within the next five months.
Monthly rents start at $2,625 for studios, $3,825 for one-bedroom units, $5,675 for two-bedroom homes and $8,500 for three-bedrooms. The building, located at 431 West 37th Street between Ninth and 10th avenues, will house an 11,000-square-foot location of Brooklyn Fare, a grocer and Michelin three-star-rated eatery.
As previously reported, the word Mantena has a double meaning; it’s a slang term for male genitalia. [Crain’s]
