The final tower in the Columbus Square development at 805 Columbus
Avenue and 100th Street is now open and available for lease, according to a statement
released today by the Chetrit Group and
Stellar Management.
The 15-story tower with 63 apartments is one of the five rental
buildings that make up the Columbus Square development. The other
towers are at 795 Columbus Avenue, 808 Columbus Avenue, 801 Amsterdam
Avenue and 775 Columbus Avenue, with 710 rental units in total. The
development also includes 500,000 square feet of retail and community
space.
Streeteasy.com currently lists 21 rentals in the new tower, with prices for a studio
starting at $3,070, a one-bedroom apartment starting at $3,625 and a
two-bedroom apartment starting at $5,316. Streeteasy.com lists one
one-bedroom rental in contract for $4,000.
The property was designed by architect Costas Kondylis and SLCE with
interiors by Andres Escobar.
Each residence has nine-foot ceilings, piece-laid white oak strip
flooring, floor-to-ceiling windows, solar shades and in-unit
washer/dryers in units one-bedroom and or larger. Kitchens are finished
with wenge wood cabinets and have Italian porcelain tile flooring, according to the statement. — Miranda Neubauer
