The Manhattan co-op market again has a new record high sales price. Jonathan Tisch, chairman of Loews Hotels and owner of the New York Giants, paid $48 million for a 14-room co-op facing Central Park. The co-op is on the 11th floor of 2 East 67th Street, a building designed by Rosario Candela in the 1920s. The last record was set in January by Scott Bommer, chairman of the hedge fund SAB Capital, who paid $46 million for two co-op apartments at 1060 Fifth Avenue.
