Burberry to move into NY Mag building

Burberry is negotiation for offices atop 444 Madison Avenue, working on a lease for 68,448 square feet that will get its name in lights. Burberry will be moving into New York magazine’s former digs, where the rag’s name has reigned at the iconic top floor spot for a decade. The asking rent is reportedly $85 per square foot. Burberry is also planning a ground-floor retail spot for the building on the northwest corner of 49th Street at the south end of the building.
