The ranch once owned by entertainer Wayne Newton south of Las Vegas is up for sale with a $31.3 million price tag.
Smoketree Group, based in the Silver State, has listed the 39.5-acre ranch built by Mr. Las Vegas at 6629 South Pecos Road, in unincorporated Paradise, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported.
The ranch, once known as Casa de Shenandoah, includes a 14,000-square-foot, white Southern-style mansion, eight more homes, a horse stable with 50 stalls, a 100-car museum, an exotic animal facility and a runway for a private jet.
The singer-entertainer started with a small ranch in 1966, then expanded it before becoming ensnared in a lengthy court battle with a business partner over a Newton museum and tours.
In 2010, CSD bought the property for $18 million, while Newton retained part ownership with plans to live on the property, which was to serve as a Graceland-style public attraction. After years of legal wrangling, Casa de Shenandoah closed to the public in 2018.
Smoketree acquired the estate in 2019 for $5.56 million, according to the Review-Journal.
A year later, Smoketree listed it for $29.9 million, ratcheting down the price until it was removed from the market in February 2022.
Smoketree relisted the ranch a year later for $28.5 million, according to Zillow, which says the estate includes 57,000 square feet of buildings dating back to 1957.
