Federal authorities have charged Oren, Tal and Alon Alexander with sex trafficking and conspiracy to commit sex trafficking, alleging the brothers raped and sexually assaulted dozens of victims.
An indictment filed in the Southern District of New York alleges the brothers operated a “long-running sex trafficking scheme” in New York and Miami, which included luring women with travel within the U.S. and internationally to vacation destinations. The filing alleges that multiple men, including the brothers, participated in the scheme.
The violent attacks, including gang rapes, began in high school, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office. The survivors who government officials interviewed from this period reported hearing those involved, including Tal Alexander, “talked about the assaults at school, boasting about ‘running train’ on their victims and saying that they wanted to ‘do it again,’” prosecutors wrote in a letter to the judge.
The U.S. Attorney’s office claims the brothers “used deception, fraud and coercion” to get victims to travel and meet them in private locations, and that Oren and Tal in particular used their position in the real estate industry to persuade women to attend events and parties and also met women at those events, whom one or more of the brothers later sexually assaulted, according to the indictment.
The brothers “used their wealth and positions to create and facilitate opportunities to rape and sexually assault women,” the indictment alleges.
The charges carry potential sentences in prison of 15 years to life, prosecutors said in a filing. Assistant U.S. Attorneys wrote that they recommended the brothers be denied bail because they “pose an ongoing and significant danger to the community and present a serious risk of flight.”
The brothers were all arrested early on Wednesday after the FBI raided their homes, including Oren and Alon’s waterfront estates in Miami Beach. Allegations against one or more of the brothers were first reported this summer by TRD.
An arrest warrant has also been issued for luxury broker Ohad Fisherman. Fisherman, who was licensed with Oren and Tal’s Side-backed brokerage, Official, now runs the Fisherman Group.
Prior to the allegations being made public, Oren and Tal were prominent luxury real estate agents in Miami and New York. Alon, who runs the family’s private security business Kent Security, began compiling files on women who had made their allegations public, along with some who hadn’t come forward with accusations, to discredit them, according to prosecutors.
U.S. Attorney Damian Williams said in a press conference Wednesday the agency worked in tandem with the Miami Dade County State’s Attorney, which is bringing its own case.
Authorities are looking to get the Alexanders into federal custody and to New York to answer the charges, according to Williams, who said the agency was “not done.”
He reiterated the agency’s belief “[the Alexanders] were not acting alone.”
“We’ll continue investigating, as long, as hard as it takes to get to the bottom of the full scope of the conduct,” Williams said.

Authorities included three counts in the indictment describing a long-held pattern of behavior by the Alexanders perpetrated around their work in ultra-luxury real estate and in chance encounters with women in New York City nightlife.
Investigators said in the indictment they spoke to dozens of women who reported being raped by one or more of the Alexander brothers between 2005 and 2021. Arrest warrants for Oren and Alon cite three incidents of sexual assault from 2016, 2017 and 2021. Oren is included in all three, but Alon is only named in the 2016 assault.
Some reported symptoms consistent with being drugged after consuming a drink provided by one of the defendants. Several said they lost the ability to move or speak and some suffered significant gaps in their memories. Text messages included in the filing show the brothers discussing providing drugs including “coke, shrooms, and G,” which the indictment says is a reference to GHB, a depressant drug.
Prosecutors also outlined attempts by Tal to intimidate women from going public with their allegations with a police report alleging harassment in one case and threat of a defamation lawsuit in another.
The brothers’ previous contact with victims, along with their carefully curated image, wealth and international connections were at the center of authorities urging judges the Alexanders be denied bail. Oren has been in contact with another American who fled to Israel after being accused of sexual misconduct, prosecutors said in the letter as part of their argument for pretrial detention.
