The head of an insurance marketing firm dropped $17 million on a waterfront spec home in Fort Lauderdale.
Records show Jeffrey and Shimera Franzoni bought the house at 2572 Mercedes Drive from a Florida LLC named for the address and managed by Leonard Tarzia.
Jeffrey Franzoni is the principal of Synergy Insurance Marketing in Fort Lauderdale. He also is a realtor with Beachfront Realty and represented himself in the sale. Gregory Jaxtheimer of Florida Luxurious Properties had the listing.
Tarzia listed his address as the waterfront home at 5 Fox Point Drive in Nissquogue, New York. He appears to be the owner of a pet cemetery in Middle Island, New York.

It hit the market for $16 million in 2023, and the asking price was increased twice in 2024, according to Realtor.com.
